About Us - Onpoint Electrics

About Us

It’s in our blood

Jon and Geoff started their electrical careers at the age of sixteen working for their father’s electrical installation company in Burntwood. Jon went on to work for large companies, doing electrical estimating and contracts, managing new build sites, but missed the day-to-day interaction of working in the domestic sector. Geoff worked for the family business right up until his father decided to slow things down in his later years, leaving the door open for Geoff and Jon to start Onpoint Electrical, offering domestic and commercial works to Burntwood, Cannock, Lichfield and surrounding areas

JON DAWSON

As a lifelong martial artist, Jon’s hobbies include training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, alongside running a Jiu Jitsu Gym with his fiance Gretel. Jon also enjoys Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.

GEOFF DAWSON

Geoff spends every minute away from work with his family and doing general Dad stuff with his wife Aimee and daughter Lola. He also enjoys taking his dog Lenny a walk over Chasewater.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Geoff & Co were professional & kept the area tidy & clean after they had completed works. Our initial date was changed due to another of their jobs running over, however, the comms were good & prompt & they worked extra hard to fit us in around this one to complete the works we had requested. Really positive experience after having multiple other Electricians unresponsive or non-committal.
They were by far the most fair priced that we had obtained quotes from & had been recommended to us from a friend! Thanks for your help!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have just had a complete re wire. I would like to say how pleased and impressed we are with
the job carried out by Jon,Geoff,Tom and Jamie. A complete re wire is not the best job to have done
especially when living in the house at the time but the work was completed to the highest standard
and within the time specified. Disruption was kept to a minimum and at the end of each day the work
areas were left clean and tidy. We could not fault any of the work and would definitely highly
recommend.
